Successful completion of the CPFM exam (70%) meets the Indiana State Department of Health requirements for certification. Serving safe food HAS to be the number one priority of you, your managers and your employees.
It is imperative to your success that you spend quality time with the study guide prior to the class. Please bring the study guide with you. A copy of the study guide (with review quizzes) is also available on my website. The class will provide pertinent information for you to not only be successful in completing the exam, but will help you operate your food service operation safely.
The class will start promptly at 8:30 a.m. Please be punctual. If you have not arranged for payment prior to arrival, please arrive early to accomplish this prior to class starting.
Please bring two pieces of ID and sharpened #2 pencils. A highlighter works really well to highlight key points.
The exam will consist of 80 multiple choice questions and you will have 2 hours to complete the exam. Your results/certificates will be mailed directly to you approximately 2 weeks after the class. I will also email results to you as soon as I receive them.
If by chance you do not score the required 70% (56 correct answers), re-taking the exam is required to receive your certificate. A $55.00 charge will apply for re-taking the exam. You are welcome to sit in on any full day or review class I have scheduled or you can just take the exam.
