This is intended for those who have taken the exam previously and only need the review portion before the exam.
The second half of our day will begin approximately 12:30 P.M.. We wrap up the days class and review prior to the exam.
This will allow you to miss only a ½ day of work or for the warriors only ½ of a day off.
The exam is the same exam used in the full day class.
This is NOT for first timers or new managers. Those managers will benefit greatly from the full day class, then take this class when you need to renew.
I have provided a study guide for on line study. This includes practice quizzes. The quizzes are password protected but your password will be emailed to you. Once you, register I will email a printable copy to you. If you would like a hard copy , you are welcome to print it yourself or Staples will produce one for you with spiral binding and card stock covers. Your cost would be approximately $6.50. You pay for it when you pick it up. I will download the file to them and they will notify one of us when it is ready.
You can choose either the ServSafe exam or the Thomson Prometric exam.
The review class is the same for both exams. They are both are based on the same materials.
Here are some differences and requirements for each:
Thomson Prometric: $75
• Recognized and accepted by all states requiring certification in case you are transferred.
• In stock, exam can be administered whenever we can work out a time/date. You can be added to a class at the last minute.
• Requires 70% score to pass.
ServSafe: $95
• Name recognition not only by Health Depts, but by everyone in the business.
• Recognized and accepted nationwide.
• Have to ordered as needed. Requires two weeks lead time (9 business days) to escape extra shipping charges. (last one I ordered was $17 for one exam)
• Requires 75% score to pass.
They both carry a five year margin to margin warranty. They both can be replaced in the event of loss or damage (charges apply).
Neither of them require on going maintenance, but both will provide better service with regular tune-ups.
